We Are All One

Humans can be so cool sometimes. Maybe living in NY sours me to how great people can be. I was sitting on the stoop outside the totally unhelpful tourist office of Tallinn, Estonia trying to find a place to spend the night. A nice Irish couple stopped in front of me and offered to help. They even gave me their phone card since they were on their way out of the country. Isn't that cool? I ended up staying where they suggested and had an amazing time.

Not sure if anyone out there in the blog world knows anything about Estonia, so let me elaborate. It is a very modern and fun place. Small, easy to navigate by foot and great public transportation. There were more cyber cafes than anywhere else I'd been. Also plenty of tourists. Even though it is a former Soviet republic it is nothing like St. Petersburg. Clean, modern and almost everything written in Estonian and English.
